What is turning into a banner year for our favorite bands going on tour continues with today’s announcement of a Pearl Jam Spring Tour. The Seattle-based band will kickoff their jaunt on May 3rd in Kansas City and hit a number of major markets over a two week period leading up to the tour-closing two-night stand at Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21.

Band of Horses will open all of the shows with the exception of May 20 where The Black Keys will open. Speaking of Pearl Jam, the band will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Violinist Lorenza Ponce tweeted that she will be a member of a string quartet joining the group for their performance on SNL.
