Last week marked the 15th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s passing. And while Gov’t Mule didn’t have a show on the exact date of the anniversary there were a number of Grateful Dead/Jerry tunes sprinkled throughout last week’s setlists including this Morning Dew encore which features Jackie Greene. Sure it’s not a Garcia original, but it is what we all think of when we hear it. Gov’t Mule plays tonight in Westbury, NY and Jackie Greene opens.
