Longtime Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti will coordinate the house band and tickets go on sale Monday January 11th here.

The concert is put together by City Winery’s Michael Dorf, who has previously staged tribute concerts for Bill Withers, Prince, Bob Dylan, and more. Proceeds from the show will benefit several organizations: Young Audiences New York, Little Kids Rock, Church Street School of Music, the Center for Arts Education, the American Symphony Orchestra, and Grammy in the Schools.  Of course its been a big 2016 for Bowie so far as his new album * Blackstar was released last Friday 1/9 on his 69th birthday to critical praise.
