Iron Maiden Kick Off ‘Book of Souls’ World Tour With Live Debuts & Return of Classics (SETLIST/VIDEO)

Iron Maiden kicked off the both the world and U.S. portion of their The Book of Souls (READ OUR RECENT INTERVIEW WITH JANICK GERS tour Wednesday night in Sunrise, FL at the BB&T Center.  ‘Ed Force One’, piloted by lead singer Bruce Dickinson landed in Florida on February 19th and the band set up shop to make their mark on U.S. soil. This show marked the band’s first appearance in the states since 8/18/12 when they concluded their summer tour at the Woodlands, TX and their first show since July 5th, 2014 at Sonisphere UK. Wednesday’s show marked the live premiere of six songs, all off 2015’s Book of Souls LP –  “If Eternity Should Fail,” “Speed of Light,” “Tears of a Clown,” The Red and the Black” “Death or Glory” and “The Book of Souls.”  Along with classic favorites “Fear of the Dark” and “Trooper” and “The Number of the Beast”, the band revisited “Hallowed Be Thy Name” (first time since 8/6/11), Children of the Damned (first time since 4/2/09) and “Blood Brothers” (first time since 8/6/11). The tour continues Friday night in Tulsa, OK so make sure you catch The Beast this winter since the entire globe is game for a visit from Ed Force One.
