In what could be the ultimate touring tribute to one of the most famous rock bands of all time, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience launches in early October in British Columbia.
It’s not often we see a tour begin and end in the western Canadian province, but then, Bonham’s Zeppelin tribute isn’t like most outings.
Presented by Annerin Productions, the same folks that bring you “The Pink Floyd Experience” and “Rain, A Tribute To The Beatles,” and featuring Bonham’s band rocking through the Led Zeppelin catalog, each show brings plenty of AV glitz, including a state-of-the-art sound system and light show. Gigantic screens will provide plenty of eye candy including lots of Zeppelin footage and photos mixed in with futuristic art and historical videos.
The tour begins in Dawson Creek, B.C., at the Encana Events Center Oct. 8; plays Prince George, B.C., at CN Centre Oct. 9 followed by a gig in Edmonton at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium Oct. 12. After Edmonton, JBLZE continues across Canada, playing Red Deer, Calgary, Regina and Winnipeg before crossing the border for its first U.S. date, playing Minneapolis at the State Theatre Oct. 19.
Other stops include Milwaukee, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Houston, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle in the U.S. and Montreal, Quebec City, Hamilton, Kitchener and Toronto in Canada before wrapping in Vancouver, B.C., at The Center P.A.C.
