Devo lays out a brief routing with stops in North Carolina, New York, Texas and California as the band continues its never-ending quest to spread its devolution gospel to all.
Starring one of the most unique bands to ever grace recording studios and concert stages, Devo’s upcoming fall tour kicks off at Moogfest in Asheville, N.C., Oct. 29 where Moog Music will award the group the first-ever Moog Innovation Award.
Next up is NYC at Hammerstein Ballroom Oct. 30 followed by Austin, Texas, at the Fun Fun Fun Fest Nov. 7.
Then it’s onward to the West Coast with three shows in California – Nov. 11 in Highland at the San Manuel Indian Casino; Nov. 12 in Los Angeles at Club Nokia and Nov. 13 in San Francisco at The Warfield.
The band also announced new merch lines based on past Devo duds. For example, those feeling a tad nostalgic can outfit themselves with the Fashion Forward Dome Bundle featuring the sleeveless maxi-turtleneck and red energy dome from Devo’s early ‘80s period. Other selections include retro specs, T-shirts and classic logo track jackets.
