Third Day is a Grammy and Dove award winning southern rock band from Marietta, Georgia who have recorded over 14 albums and were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009 with fellow Georgia rockers, Widespread Panic.  Third Day continue to progress and enhance their sound with each album, while managing to stay true to their southern rock sound.

Their latest studio album, Move, is a melting pot of sounds that returns Americana with elements of modern rock, sporting strong guitar solos and even a gospel choir.  They enlisted producer Paul Moak who is known for his replication of the "vintage sound" and recorded most of Move in the band’s new state of the art studio in Atlanta dubbed “The Quarry”.  The hard hitting first single “Lift Up your Face” has an inspirational message during these dire times and features the Blind Boys of Alabama on vocals.    “Surrender” features bluesy acoustic bottleneck slide work with an irresistible chorus lead by the smooth gritty vocals of Mac Powell.  Standout tracks are the piano driven “Follow Me There," the up-tempo sing-along “I’ll Be Your Miracle” and the impressive southern rocker “Gone,"  any of which will contend for the next single.   With Move, Third Day has returned to their southern roots with one of their finest albums since 1999’s Time and have continued to push themselves toward perfection.
