Athens, GA rock trio The Whigs have announced a new live album, Live In Little Five, that will release November 11 on New West Records. Check out the live video for fan-favorite “Like A Vibration,” which first appeared on the band’s critically acclaimed second full-length Mission Control in 2008.
Recorded at Aisle 5 in Atlanta, GA last December, Live In Little Five “represent[s] the songs that are on set night in and night out,” according to frontman Parker Gispert. The album showcases eight tracks that span The Whigs’ 14-year career in what the band considers to be their purest form, as well as two previously unrecorded songs intended for their next full-length studio LP. In conjunction with the release, the band is currently on an extensive U.S. tour throughout the East Coast with shows in Chicago,Atlanta, Athens, Nashville, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and more.
