Rivers Cuomo Releasing Pinkerton Diaries Book

Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo has announced that he is releasing a book about their 1996 album ‘Pinkerton’.

The Pinkerton Diaries is due out at the end of November, with Cuomo revealing that the book will give "an inside look as to exactly what I was thinking".

"[It’s] a collection of all my journals, emails, letters, photos, school papers, everything from those years ’94-’97," he told Spin. "So you get an inside look as to exactly what I was thinking."

The frontman also explained that the group’s upcoming ‘Memories’ tour, which will see the band perform their ‘Blue’ and ‘Pinkerton’ albums in full, will be different from "night to night".

"There won’t be any replication night to night," he says. "We can augment that with different production on stage and different ways of performing and different ways of carrying myself, or dressing, or grooming. There’s going to be a lot of variety."

As previously reported, Weezer will follow up the release of their eighth studio album, ‘Hurley’, with a rarities collection called ‘Death To False Metal’ on November 1.
