AC/DC With Axl Rose Deliver Rosie, Cannons & “Live Wire” To Atlanta’s Phillips Arena (PHOTOS)

AC/DC with Axl Rose hit the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA on 9/1/6 as they continue to stay true to their Rock or Bust tour. Atlanta happens to be the city that Axl rehearsed initially with AC/DC last spring to see if he can fill the shoes of Brian Johnson, who had to retire from touring early due to hearing issues. Axl has been instrumental in AC/DC playing some Bon Scott tunes they haven’t played in decades, as “Live Wire” (played in Atlanta) made its first appearance a few nights prior in Greensboro, NC.

  1. NO NO NO NO I can not even fathom axel “can’t really sing” rose leading the ultimate number one band of all time. I won’t accept him disgracing the fine fine BON SCOTT. Bon was so perfect, oh baby why did you leave us? Poor poor saturated soul, I hope you aren’t listening to your songs being destroyed by axel “poser”.
Angus couldn’t you have spent a little more time interviewing?
It seems the great days are truly gone now…..

  2. They did “Live Wire”, a real good extended version with the best guitar solo — even better than the “Let There Be Rock” solo that’s been their closing song for four or five tours now—some time back. Maybe ’99 or 2000, I can’t remember the album they were supporting. So they’ve done “Live Wire” with Brian Johnson. Somebody’s misinformed about that. Yeah, that’ll be good if somebody puts this show up on Youtube so we can see whether Angus did the long version of Live Wire in Atlanta.

  3. Really Rudd, who cares what u think about Axl or anything! You are a brain-fried METH-HEAD; fricking kook. Because of your behavoir, Malcolm’s dementia & Brian’s hearing, AC/DC was been fading. Axl has brought new enthusiasm & energy to the band, not to mentioned Axl has total respect for the band. Angus has nothing but positive comments regarding Axl. Frankly, Angus’s opinion is more relevant than yours, Rudd. Rudd if you weren’t such a loser maybe you would still be performing. In the short term Axl has been a blessing, and if this is AC/DC’s swan song, then, like Angus says; they fulfilled their obligation to the fans…they gave it their best under tough circumstances
