Roger Waters Announces ‘Us and Them’ U.S. Tour

Days after playing the Desert Trip festival in Indio, Calif., Roger Waters has announced a huge U.S. tour. It’s his first since the 2010-2013 tour of The Wall and starts in May of next year, with stops in more than 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada. Waters has named it the “Us And Them” tour after the song he wrote for Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side Of The Moon.

“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” Waters said in a statement. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75 percent of it will be old material and 25 percent will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”

  1. Roger was so humbled and taken a back by the overwhelming love Milwaukee gave him in ’07
that he doesnt stop on the tour, thanks roger. I read hes touring his new release but if its like any solo non floyd roger its really an expensive frisbee. I cant believe he would do more than a small amount of new material and of course more tunes from the “never ending wall” We have all been “bored to death” about Rog losing his dad at one year old. If your reading this roger we dont and never cared, everybody experiences loss stop it already but at almost 80 maybe you never will. And to think i took Meddle and PF plays the animals, a ex boot from 5-9-77, 1st set animals 2nd WYWH INTO THE TRUCK TODAY and it was like old times. In 77 @ 15 animals changed my life so if you don’t grace us with a show in milwaukee all i can say is “AW FOR FUCKS SAKE” ala 7-6-77, monteal, i know my animals tour. Very disappointed.
