Eric Clapton/Wynton Marsalis Announce Lincoln Center Gigs

Eric Clapton and Wynton Marsalis will celebrate the blues in a special concert scheduled for New York City in April.
The plan calls for the two artists to explore their common musical roots by delving into the world of New Orleans bandleader King Oliver and performing songs by early blues and jazz legends ranging from Howling Wolf to Moe Rainey and Fats Waller to Louis Armstrong.
The shows are booked for April 8-9 at New York City’s Rose Theatre. Taj Mahal will also appear.
