Lydia Loveless Announces 2017 Tour Dates, Shares New Video For “European”

In support of her critically acclaimed album RealLydia Loveless announced new North American tour dates in January and February of 2017. The tour launches in Nashville on January 19th heading west and ending in Lawrence, KS. Lydia and her band are currently on the road with three remaining performances in Pittsburgh (11/15)New York (11/16), and Chicago (11/19).

In addition to being included in The Hot List in the latest print edition of the magazine, Rolling Stone is running a feature on Lydia and premiered a video for the song “European” saying, “Her fourth LP, Real, released in August, is a tour de force – part cowpunk, part Eighties pop – that has helped establish Loveless as one of the biggest roots-rock acts of the year.”

Real is Loveless’s third full-length release with Bloodshot Records, and fourth overall. The album appeared on the Billboard Heatseekers and Folk/Americana Chartsand landed her a television performance debut on CBS This Morning, in addition to garnering praise from NPR Music (“By finessing her musical ideas and illustrating how she processes prickly emotions, she’s created a rich alternate reality”), The FADER (“Real is hinged on elements of doom-and-gloom country, passionate post-punk, and infectious power-pop. Real is now available on CD and LP and through all digital retailers and streaming services.
