Last Waltz Tour Feat: Warren Haynes, Don Was, Michael McDonald Plan 2017 Tour

Warren Haynes always finds new ways to keep busy and this winter hell be touring in honor of The Band. Along with bassis/producer Don Was, Haynes will take their tribute to the Band’s famed farewell concert, The Last Waltz, on the road next year. The pair lead a 40th anniversary tribute concert in New Orleans in April alongside musicians now confirmed for the upcoming tour:  John Medeski, Jamey Johnson and drummer Terence Higgins. Michael McDonald – renowed for his yacht rock hits will also join the Band tribute group, while the horn section will use the original arrangements composed by Allen Toussaint. Various special guests will be announced at a later date.
