The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival comes your way with not one but two weekends of fun in 2012. Details after the jump.
While it may be too early to start discussing bands, lineups and schedules, you can pencil in two weekends for next year’s Coachella extravaganza – April 13-15 and 20-22 – with both weekends taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.
But don’t go thinking Coachella’s almost infinitely long lineup of talent will double in size next year. While announcing the dates, promoters said they will “attempt to produce two identical festival weekends – same lineup, same art, same place, different people.”
In other words, promoters will strive to make the second weekend the same as the first, but in front of a different audience.
Weekend passes go on sale this Friday, June 3, at 10 a.m. and will continue until Friday, June 10 at 10 p.m. (all times PDT). The advance sale will be the only time you can take advantage of Coachella’s payment plan calling for 10 percent down and the balance paid off in eight equal monthly installments.
