The Avalanches Announce First Ever North America Tour

The Avalanches will kick off their first North American live tour on June 3 at Brooklyn Bowl. The show is part of the Governors Ball After Dark series. The band will perform at the Governors Ball festival the following day, June 4.

The headline run includes shows at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC (June 5), the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia (June 7) and The Royale in Boston (June 12). Tickets for the Brooklyn show have already sold out. Tickets for the remaining dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 5 at 10am local time. See below for full itinerary…

Since I Left You (Astralwerks), The Avalanches’ landmark debut album, is now once again available on vinyl – in a limited edition, blue vinyl double edition, found exclusively in the U.S. at independent retailers, and in a standard double black vinyl edition, available now on Amazon.

The release of Since I Left You was followed by a 16-year radio silence, which was broken with the release of The Avalanches’ sophomore album, Wildflower (Astralwerks).
