Yet again Disc Jam proves to possess one of the deepest festival lineups in the jam scene. With over 50 acts playing over four days on four stages, one can see how powerful the lineup is at Disc Jam this year. From its initial offering in June 2001 at Sturbridge, MA, Disc Jam has developed into an elite 4-day music festival destination and it is poised to take place June 8th-11th at the magical Gardner’s Farm in Stephentown, NY.
There are enticing late night sets, a plethora of DJ’s, a silent disco and a bevy of some of the brightest ascending acts in the jam scene including Dopapod, Tauk, Pink Talking Fish, Turkuaz and Consider the Source. Artists at Large include the talented Hayley Jane, Primate Fiasco and Holly Bowling. Disc Jam 2017 again offers the strongest jam, jamtronica, funk, electronica and bluegrass and a multitude of activities including live painting, art installations, yoga sessions, quality vending, hula hooping from the Flow Tribe and disc golf. Now celebrating its seventh year, Disc Jam has earned a solid reputation for providing an exemplary experience.
Having garnered nearly 4,000 attendees last year, the new and improved location and satisfying deep lineup should lure in more. There is car-side camping and day passes available with Tickets and info available at www.discjammusicfestival.com.
“We’ve put together a who’s who of Northeast musical talent without straying from our funk/jam roots, while keeping with the times to include the electro-fusion craze that has taken hold of new music being created by today’s fastest rising acts.” – Tony Scavone, Promoter
