About two years ago, Neon Indian released his debut album, Psychic Chasms, and hasn’t had a moments rest since. Every music blog instantly fell in love with then 20-year-old Alan Palomo, and thus gave him the world’s attention. What he’s done with that attention has been remarkable, and now we will finally get to hear the next step in Palomo’s career.
On September 13th, Neon Indian’s sophomore release, Era Extraña, will be released through both his own label, Static Tongues, and Mom and Pop Records. You can grab a sneak peak of the album with his video and instrumental track, "Heart: Decay," right below. The album was written and recorded in Helsinki, and this video can give an idea of what the environment was like for him. Don’t be surprised if Neon Indian has gotten a little darker since his "Should Have Taken Acid With You" days.
