Photos from Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival which took place at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts June 23 – 25th. Wilco headlined shows on Friday and Saturday and they were joined at the festival by Television, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Robert Glasper Experiment, Dawn of Midi, Dave Alvin and Phil Alvin with the Guilty Ones, Kevin Morby, Joan Shelley, Big Thief, Peter Wolf & the Midnight Travelers, Deep Sea Diver, Andy Shauf, Alloy Orchestra, Idris Ackamoor and the Pyramids, Kacy & Clayton, Daniel Bachman, Jeff Parker Trio, The Shaggs and Max Hatt / Edda Glass. A number of Wilco side projects will also be on hand including Tweedy, The Autumn Defense, On Fillmore, The Nels Cline Four and Quindar also played. Photos by Emile Holland.

DEEP SEA DIVER turned in the set of the weekend (next to Wilco, of course). We’ve been to every Solid Sound. There is always at least one band that really stands out (in the past, it was Real Estate, Lucius, Liam Finn). This year, it was DEEP SEA DIVER. Check them out.
