The Dodos Give Away Free Live Album

To celebrate the impending launch of their fall US trek, San Francisco duo The Dodos are giving fans a free live album download and the chance to win tickets to every date on their upcoming tour.

The album was recorded in May at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The performance is over an hour’s worth of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber’s brand of acrobatic indie folk, relying heavily on the tracklist from March’s No Color.  All fans need to do to redeem their free live album and enter to win tickets is provide a working email address at http://www.dodosmusic.net. The album will be delivered immediately to the email address, and the fan will be entered into a drawing for the date closest to them. Ticket winners will be notified no less than three days before the show.

In other news, the band recently unveiled a new clip for the No Color standout “Good,” directed by Mark Holthusen. The band performs against a white background, constantly being injected with amorphous shapes of black, evoking the classic Rorschach test. Check out the video below, or via Pitchfork TV:
