Rooster Teeth’s RTX Hits Austin This Weekend

This weekend, the famed production company Rooster Teeth will host RTX 2017, a three day festival billed as a convention Where Gaming Meets The Internet.’ The crossroads of internet culture and gaming, RTX allows attendees to see the latest in gaming, learn more about the industry, as well as mingle with other like-minded fans from July 7th – 9th at the Austin Convention Center in downtown Austin, TX.

The big highlight this year is a special screening of War for the Planet of the Apes on Friday, July 7th, followed by a Q&A with actor/performer Andy Serkis and WETA Digital’s Joe Letteri afterwards. Additionally, Adult Swim Presents will feature an hour plus screening of exclusive Adult Swim content including some brand new shows, including the creator of the upcoming Apollo Gauntlet with creator  Myles Langlois. Additionally, there will be panels and exclusive screenings from Cyanide and Happiness, Netflix’s upcoming Castlevania, MondoMedia, and many others.

“I’m so excited to show the world what we have in store at RTX Austin in 2017.  I feel like we’ve really hit our stride with gaming, online influencers and now animation,” said Rooster Teeth co-founder and Executive Producer Gus Sorola.
