Yet another three-day weekend is upon us, and I’m about to jet to Chicago for the Umphrey’s McGee New Year’s Run at the Aragon. Have a terrific NYE, folks, and expect even more from Hidden Track in 2007. It’s so on.
- Bob Weir is making the rounds, this time sitting down with Jambands.com’s Taylor Hill
- Keelin Garcia sues her father’s estate for a bigger piece of the pie
- Wolfgang’s Vault responds to the evildoers trying to shut them down
- Wakarusa announces the lineup for the 2007 festival
- Check out the third installment of Mike Greenhaus’ year-end wrap-up
- Neddy does a good job with his Best of 2006 features
- The Chicago Sun-Times previews Umphrey’s McGee at the Aragon. The band also recently released the 36th edition of its podcast series
- Glide Magazine features an interview with Alexa Ray Joel
- With so many different festivals, it’s kinda nice that Summercamp’s headliners stay the same every year
- The Samples have started a YouTube channel featuring over 80 videos from the band’s archives
- Bisco bassist Marc Brownstein answers some questions from his fans in this Jambands.com feature
- Trey Anastasio’s streak of good reviews continues — last night Big Red saluted James Brown and broke out an old classic
- Tea Leaf Green and The Disco Biscuits also played shows last night (Ace was at TLG and came home raving about its greatness)
What are your plans for the rest of the week and New Year’s Eve?
