Watch the Bone Chilling First Trailer for ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’
The first trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’ follow up to last year’s The Lobster has been released and while it’s hard to tell exactly what to expect from his upcoming film, it sure looks creepy as hell. The Killing of a Sacred Deer finds the director reteams with his The Lobster star Colin Farrell in what’s been described as a stunning psychological horror film. Nicole Kidman co-stars, and if the trailer is any indication, Lanthimos is taking us on yet another wild and weird ride. The Killing of a Sacred Deer hits theaters on November 3.

St. Vincent to Direct Gender-Swapped ‘Dorian Grey’ for Lionsgate
After making a stunning directorial debut with “The Birthday Party” as part of the all-female horror anthology film XX, Annie “St. Vincent” Clark has found her first feature film. The experimental musician, who cut her visual teeth directing her own music videos, is set to helm an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s Picture of Dorian Grey for Lionsgate. With a script from writer David Birke (Elle), the new adaptation is said to be a gender swapped retelling of the classic Wilde novel. No further details have been announced, but Clark seems the perfect candidate to bring this story to life. The creeping horror of the Wilde novel is perfect for her visual flair, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the story.
