"Portlandia: The Tour" will be visiting U.S. cities this morning This morning’s press release from IFC says it’a a mini-tour, featuring "Portlandia" co-stars and co-creators Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, which will bring "the romanticized and dreamy rendering of Portland, OR to life for fans across the country."
Armisen and Brownstein will perform live music and show sneak-peek clips from the second season of the show. They’ll also be "sharing personal anecdotes about the creation and inspiration of ‘Portlandia’ and its variety of eccentric characters.’"
The tour begins in Portland on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Hollywood Theatre. From there it goes to Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn and New York City.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 22.
