This Saturday, January 21st on PBS Stations across the nation, Austin City Limits presents an extraordinary performance by Joanna Newsom. This will be Joanna’s debut performance on Austin City Limits, following appearances on other late night programs including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the Late Show with David Letterman. Finally, Joanna has a chance to play some of her longer songs for all the world to see!
Recorded and taped August 1, 2011 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater, the episode features The Milk-Eyed Mender’s “Bridges and Balloons,” and Have One On Me’s “Good Intentions Paving Company” and title track, “Have One On Me.” This ACL episode is coupled with a performance by Fleet Foxes making for one supreme hour of entertainment by two musical acts.
