One of the most iconic music venues in America, the Hollywood Bowl opens up to ticketing for it’s 2012 Summer Season tomorrow morning, May 5th, at 10 AM.
The lineup this year is especially strong, including the likes of Wilco, Norah Jones, Ben Harper, Fitz and the Tantrums, Glen Campbell, Animal Collective, Esperanza Spalding and Hot Chip.
This service warning directly from the Hollywood Bowl is particularly humorous– it sounds like a Lana Del Rey event:
Due to the high demand of walkup business, wristband distribution begins at approximately 8am. Only 500 wristbands will be distributed for the day (and the 500 are generally distributed within an hour). Department 12 will distribute 30 wristbands, for patrons with disabilities. Bowl parking lots will open at 7am.
Be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The Hollywood Bowl Store, Hollywood Bowl Museum, and a concession stand will be open.
Check the listings at the Hollywood Bowl’s website, or read them all below. You can purchase tickets online at HollywoodBowl.com or via Audience Services at 323.850.2000 or Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000 beginning at 10am as well, without having to wait hours to buy tickets (service charges do apply).
