Poor Moon To Join Beach House on Fall Tour

Poor Moon has scheduled new tour dates as direct support for Sub Pop label mates Beach House this fall! The tour begins on October 4th in Seattle, WA at Showbox at the Market and ending on October 17th in Washington, DC at the 9:30 Club. Preceding the tour on August 11th, the band will visit Olga, WA for an appearance at the Doe Bay Fest. Please find a full list of tour dates below.

The tour is in support of Poor Moon’s self-titled debut full length, available August 28th via Sub Pop on CD, LP, and at all digital providers. Today you can download the album’s lead single, "Holiday." Grab that track here, or stream it below:

Poor Moon is a band comprised of longtime friends Christian Wargo, Casey Wescott, and brothers Ian and Peter Murray. And Poor Moon is the title of their full-length debut. But before there was a band or a record, there was the music, a series of songs forged by Christian Wargo over a period of several years. That’s one of the things that makes Poor Moon sound so special: this band grew out of the songs, not vice-versa.
