Austin-‐‑based folk-‐‑rock band Wheeler Brothers have announced a fall headlining tour kicking off on August 31 at The Granada
Theater in Dallas, TX. Having formed back in early 2011, the Wheeler Brothers have seen incredible success over the past year in response to their debut album, Portraits. This past spring at the Austin Music Awards the band took home five awards, including Austin’ʹs coveted Best New Band.
More recently the band has shared the stage with notable musicians such as The Avett Brothers and Rhett Miller. The Wheeler Brothers have also been invited to perform at this year’ʹs Austin City Limits Music Festival and will take the stage Saturday, October 13. Last month when the band arrived back home in Austin from its spring tour they set about recording a sophomore effort. More details to come regarding the band’s next release.
