Jimmy Herring and Victor Wooten Launching Fall Tour

In a pairing from a music-lovers dream, JIMMY HERRING and VICTOR WOOTEN are just a few short weeks from beginning their fall tour across the Eastern and Southern U.S.  Each artist will be promoting their most recent releases, Herring’s Subject To

Change Without Notice released on August 21st through Abstract Logix Records, and Wooten’s own two releases Words and Tones and the instrumental version Sword & Stone both of which are due out September 25 from VIX Records.

Starting on November 1st in Charleston, SC, the tour will land in 14 cities such as Charlotte, Richmond, and New York, ending in Albany on November 18th.  Wooten promises to invigorate the crowds playing electric, tenor and upright basses, cello, guitar and vocals; while Herring is always impressive as the innovative lead guitar. Together, they will be joined by their respective bands while joining together throughout the night as well.

Herring’s band will consist of:  Jeff Sipe on drums, Neal Fountain on bass and keyboardist Matt Slocum, while Wooten’s band is comprised of:  Krystal Peterson on vocals, keyboards and drums; Kelly Gravely on vocals and drums; Derico Watson on vocals and drums; Anthony Wellington on bass, keyboards & vocals; Steve Bailey on bass, keyboards, trombone and vocals; and Dave Welsch on bass, trumpet, keyboards and vocals.
