Ryan Bingham Announces New Album ‘American Love Song’, Shares 2019 Tour Dates

Ryan Bingham has announced the release of his highly anticipated sixth studio album. AMERICAN LOVE SONG arrives FEBRUARY 15, 2019 via his own Axster Bingham Records; pre-orders are available now. Co-produced with renowned guitarist/artist Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan), the LP was recorded at Arlyn Studios and Public Hi-Fi in Austin, TX with additional recording at Matter Music in Los Angeles.

Bingham’s first new LP in four years, AMERICAN LOVE SONG finds the award-winning singer-songwriter furthering his already remarkable creativity by honing in upon both the personal and the cultural on songs such as the rocking “Jingle and Go” and the stripped down, acoustic “Wolves,” which deals with the painful memories of his youth and those inevitable confrontations with the next school bully. But it’s also a response to Bingham’s emotions when the March for Our Lives students, in the wake of the Parkland school shooting, had to contend with men and women questioning their integrity on social media. “Wolves” is the first track available now with all pre-orders. Billboard premiered the song today.

Bingham – who is currently traveling North America on a completely sold out solo acoustic tour, with dates continuing through early December – will celebrate AMERICAN LOVE SONG with full band tours of North America and Europe, with U.S. dates beginning March 19 in Salt Lake City, UT. In addition, Bingham is announcing his own unique music festival “The Western.” Presented in partnership with Live Nation, the Bingham-curated festival will take place April 12 and 13, 2019 at the iconic outdoor venue Luckenbach TX. The inaugural event will see performances across two stages with Margo Price, Old 97s, Colter Wall, and Jamestown Revival already confirmed for the lineup. An exclusive “Campfire Jam,” the evening before the main festival event, will feature an acoustic song-swap performance with Bingham and Margo Price following a seated dinner prepared by BBQ pitmaster Billy Durney of Brooklyn, NY’s famed Hometown Bar-B-Que.
