The first round of 2013 Wakarusa acts has been unveiled, with Widespread Panic, Yonder Mountain String Band, Zeds Dead, and Of Monsters And Men at the top of the list. The announcement also includes Rebelution, Quixotic, Tipper and Son Volt. Scheduled May 30 through June 2, this year marks Wakarusa’s 10th anniversary and its fifth year at Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Ark.
Today’s announcement features Savoy, RJD2, Bombino, Allen Stone, Figure, Icona Pop, The Polish Ambassador, BoomBox, Wallpaper, Zoogma and more.
From the looks of the lineup on the festival’s website, which is outfitted with dozens of spaces listed as “TBA,” there are tons of big names yet to be revealed. Between Widespread Panic (listed in the very first spot) and Yonder Mountain String Band, you’ve got six mystery TBA acts.
Lineup announcement No.2 is coming Jan. 10, followed by the third and final announcement Jan. 17.
