Blur, The Stones Roses, Phoenix, New Order, Red Hot Chil Peppers, Postal Service Lead Coachella Lineup

Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, event organizers announced today. The festival will return to the Empire Polo Club for consecutive weekends April 12-14 and April 19-21.

The lineup also includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The xx. and The Postal Service, an electronic/indie rock group featuring Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie is reuniting at the festival. Nick Cave and his band the Bad Seeds are also on the bill, as is Lou Reed, New Order, Jurassic 5 and Sigur Ros.  A full view of the confirmed acts can be seen on the poster below…

Festival passes for both weekends go on sale Tuesday, January 29th at 10 AM PST. Festival passes for Weekend 1 must be purchased with a shuttle pass or a car camping pass. New for 2013, the price you see is the price you pay — prices reflect all fees included. Layaway is no longer an option for either weekend.
