thenewno2 announces summer tour dates supporting Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The tour kicks off on May 8 at Montreal’s Corona Theatre and will keep the band on the road through June 2 at Santa Ana, CA’s The Observatory. Thenewno2 will play venues such as Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL on May 17, Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR on May 26 and The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA on June 1 along the way.
thenewno2 will digitally release a deluxe version of their critically acclaimed 2012 sophomore album, thefearofmissingout on May 14 through their own H.O.T Records Ltd. The deluxe album will feature two acoustic album tracks: “Staring Out To Sea” – featuring Ben Harper, Dhani Harrison’s Fistful of Mercy bandmate, and “Make It Home”, accompanied by a string quartet and the legendary Jim Keltner, who also played Dhani’s father George, on drums. The deluxe version will also feature “Make It Home” remixes by Big Black Delta and Mr. Hudson.
