NO WIN took the stage for their first-ever NYC concert at Baby’s All Right. What’s more, the LA power pop outfit were also breaking in a new drummer, Ryan Moutinho, who more than held his own behind the kit on cuts like “Carbar”.
Lead singer/guitarist Danny Nogueiras wasted no time in kickstarting the shredding by launching into “After Your Legs”, the anthemic lead track from the band’s debut studio album downey. Other highlights included the searing guitar solo to close out “Endless Scan” and Nogueiras stepping away from the mic, letting his voice carry naturally through the intimate venue at the end of “Shelley Duvall”.
