NOLA Crawfish Fest is pleased to announce its 5th year of Music, Crawfish and Beer tucked into the “daze between” Jazzfest weekends, April 27th through 29th 2020 at Central City BBQ’s Smoke Yard. Artists Anders Osborne, Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Marcus King, Duane Trucks, Luther Dickinson and Grahame Lesh to headline this year’s music bill. In addition to music, the Louisiana Fish Fry Ultimate Crawfish Cookoff and King Kooker Crawfish Eating Contest, will occur during the festival days. “We are super excited to be putting on this festival for the 5th year in a row and our plans are to make this the biggest and best yet” says Chris Davis, Festival Producer of Nola Crawfish Fest. “Jazzfest has become a two-week long tradition for some folks and we are proud to provide a little bit more of New Orleans for those who stay in town during the ‘daze between’ while providing our locals a more intimate festival-going experience.”
NOLA Crawfish Fest also hosts The King Kooker Crawfish Eatin’ Competition which pits any challenger, pro or amateur, against each other to see who can down the most crawfish in 7 minutes and The Louisiana Fish Fry Ultimate Crawfish Cookoff where 20 teams go head-to-head to see who can create the most savory and tasteful pot of crawfish, where a panel of celebrity judges will name their winner.
