Record Store Day 2020 Moved To Three New “Drop” Dates

The 2020 edition of Record Store Day was originally supposed to have happened his past April 18, but the coronavirus pandemic moved it to June 2nd and now things have changed, but perhaps for the better.

The time to support our local record shops and artists has suddenly become even more essential and vital to preserver. Records Store Day will occur on three“special, properly distanced” Saturdays: August 29, September 26 and October 24. This year each day are being called “drops” and this year’s slate of exclusive Record Store Day releases will be divvied up between those three dates. A new version of the previously announced list of releases will be available on June 1.
