Phish Revisit Dicks Runs For Labor Day Weekend ‘Dinner and a Movie’

The latest iteration of Phish’s weekly archival video series Dinner and A Movie is a special holiday-sized edition as the band will be eschewing their usual format of streaming a single concert each Tuesday evening in favor of airing three consecutive shows this upcoming Labor Day weekend commemorating their annual end-of-summer celebrations at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO.

The festivities begin next Friday (9/4/20) with the airing of Phish’s set from 9/1/17, followed by 9/1/12 on Saturday evening, before capping things off on Sunday with the infamous 9/6/15 “THANK YOU” show, in which the band used some setlist trickery during that evening’s encore slot to spell out the heartfelt message to fans.

All three shows are flush with musical highlights and standout moments, including a strong “No Men In No Man’s Land->Carini->Ghost” sequence from the first night, the first “Run Like An Antelope” opener since 1990 on night two, as well as a slew of bustouts & rarities – “Harpua”, “Keyboard Army”, “The Landlady”, “Once in a Lifetime” – from the final performance on Sunday.

Proceeds from donations made during all three shows next weekend will benefit the Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to music education for America’s youth.
Watch all three free livestreams of Dinner And A Movie, beginning next Friday, September 4th at 8:30PM at https://webcast.livephish.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/phish
