SONG PREMIERE: Bobcat Rob & The Nightly Howl Bring On Righteous Melodic Flow Via “Beauty In The World”

Bobcat Rob croons with a voice likened to honey drizzled over burning coals. His songs are as uplifting as they are haunting, drawing on visceral truths and common threads to weave captivating tales. From quiet to loud, reserved to explosive, each song carries its own weight and settles deep into the listener.

‘Engineer’, ‘Drainpipes’ and ‘Beauty In The World’ – the first three singles released from the new full-length album coming early 2021 – venture deeper into a sound Bobcat has been cultivating in recent years that he likes to call Surf-Country.

Bobcat Rob steps out of the shadows and into the light on his new single “Beauty In The World” that Glide is premiering below. The Santa Cruz based multi-instrumentalist sings with passion and virtuous incite as he swirls through minimalistic and psychedelic alt-rock beauty. With an unpretentious melodic flow, Bobcat Rob croons with charisma and a welcoming glow that calls to mind old-world sounding artists like Todd Snider and M. Ward.

“I wrote “Beauty In The World” a couple of years ago, but it holds true now more than ever. While recording it earlier this year, with everything going on in the world and parts of the town I live in literally burning to the ground, it felt like I had just written it at that moment.”
