Bootsy Collins has stepped it up a notch to cap off the year and is sharing a new video for “Creepin’,” from his latest album The Power of the One. The song features guitar great Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, with Bootsy on drums and Spacebass.
“I knew I wanted a solid raunchy groove with a loud guitar over the top. I wanted it to be the kind of thang that messes with your mind and questions your sanity,” Bootsy shared with Rolling Stone. “Well, I started to think about my hallucination “dazes” when I was stoned out of my mind in a room about six by eight— just big enough to lie down on a bed—trippin’ out on Hendrix and Howlin’ Wolf…I was seeing things and colors creepin’ in and out of my room, it was all kinda creepy!
