LISTEN: Shannon & The Clams Share Boisterous New Single “All Of My Cryin”

Shannon & The Clams have shared “All Of My Cryin’” the third single from their sixth studio album, Year Of The Spider, which will be released on August 20th via Easy Eye Sound.

The videodirected Ryan Daniel Browne, echoes themes from of the album including finding joy and connection from loss and tragedy. Director Ryan Daniel Browne says of the video “Cody’s lyrics made me think about the value of crying. The catharsis and comfort it can bring — crying is like one part of yourself trying to comfort another part of yourself. I thought about how many different types of tears there are — grief, joy, fear, nostalgia, pain and so on. I imagined scientists putting tears under a microscope and trying to dissect and analyze them, put them into different categories and so on. Then I thought, what if different tears behaved differently, like the different liquids themselves had different qualities, like different personalities?”. Blanchard adds: “I was shocked by how much I liked being a clown. I think we could’ve done an entire video of just me as a clown, running around making mischief and dancing.”
