New York legend Patti Smith played a free show at New York City’s Central Park SummerStage for a capacity crowd on Sunday, September 19th. Smith played a 90-minute set to thousands of fans and even dedicated a song to the recently passed drummer Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones. She also reminded the audience to take care of themselves and each other in today’s turbulent times before breaking into “Power to the People”, a long-time staple of her live sets.
