VIDEO PREMIERE: On “Beach Song,” Boston’s Coral Moons Display Melodic Preciseness at Morningside Cabin

Given their lush vocal presentation and melodic presentation it’s entirely fitting that Boston’s Coral Moons have earned prestigious spots at this year’s Levitate Festival and Boston Calling Music Festival playing before acts that include Phil Lesh & Friends, Jack Johnson, Foo Fighters, and of course the mighty Metalllica. And while Coral Moon’s wistful and colorful sound spells “ideal daytime festival slot” this quartet led by songstress/vocalist Carly Kraft surely knows its way around a good song. And oh my her vocals are certainly deliciously enveloping.

Glide is premiering the video for “Beach Song,” by Coral Moons, a cozy live shot from their Morningside Cabin, proving less is more in certain song situations. The band carefully listens to one another where, the power of the quartet provides mood, scene, and a place of time. Upstate New York, is the scene of this morning retreat where the band choose to film and hibernate, yet it appears even some plants and pups seemed to enjoy the surrounding. Check out this snug and aching song and video below…

“Beach Song was originally a love song for the beach when I first started writing it but it quickly turned into daydreaming of moving to LA to pursue music. I was writing this song when the pandemic hit and it made me reimagine what my life was like and where I felt I needed to be. Perhaps since I wasn’t ultimately able to be at the beach, I wanted this song to put any listener there immediately as if they’ve teleported to their dreamiest one,” says Kraft.
