Iron Maiden Kick Off 2022 Legacy Of The Beast Tour 2022 In Croatia

Iron Maiden have been tearing apart stages since their debut in 1980. For over 50 years the band has been releasing intense recordings and bringing them to life on stage. They returned to the stage on May 22 at the Arena Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia to kick off their Legacy of The Beast Tour This marks the band’s first performance since closing out their tour of North and South America in 2019. This is also their first performance of their lengthy 2021 album Senjutsu

The setlist was career spanning, featuring fan favorites from their illustrious career. They opened the show with three tracks off of their latest album before launching into their classics. The show had two encores where they performed songs like “The Trooper” and “Aces High”.  Their “Legacy Of A Beast” tour has the band going all over the world in 2022, they’ll land in the U.S. for a string of dates starting in September. 

Fans were treated to a surprise when originally frontman Paul Di’Anno made a appearance before the band kicked off the show. Original bassist Steve Harris and Di’Anno had a friendly exchange on stage right before the start of the show. Di’Anno has been going through treatment leading up to his knee surgery. The orignal lead singer was able to stick around and see some of the show, a heartwarming experience for the band and fans alike.
