Elvis Costello Details Ten Show NYC Residency With Unique Setlists & No Repeats

Just last week Glide reported on Elvis Costello’s late-night appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Prior to his performance with his recently rejuvenated band Rusty, Costello sat down with Fallon for an interview. During said interview, Costello announced his plans to keep his 2022 hot streak alive into next year. The “Alison” singer provided details on a 10-day residency at New York City’s Gramercy Theater secluded for February next year, but Costello is putting his own twist on the idea of a residency.

While detailing the 10-night event Costello revealed that the setlist will change every night. He makes the promise that he will not perform the same song twice the entire residency. Each of the 10-nights will feature 20 songs, half will be hinted at prior while the other 10 remain a mystery until the night of.

Costello is currently touring in support of his latest album with his band The Imposters. No word on when tickets for his residency will be available but during the same interview he mentioned that a “special price” would be set for entry.
