“Selfishly Indulgent” the latest single from Kent, England’s Georgia Parker brings dynamic instrumentation and provocative arranging to the world of thunderstruck love songs. For a lot of folks, relationships come and go, but Parker decides to throw caution to the wind and revel in the hyper-emotional zigs and zags that make up a “love at first sight” type of romance. Be on the lookout for her debut album, due out in the coming months.
“This song is about falling in love very quickly and unexpectedly – which is somewhat how the song came about too. I wrote it in one sitting and did not think too much of it at first. After playing it to a few friends I realized how special it was. I was lucky enough to work on it with the guy who is the subject of the song. We both feel we have made something authentic and in line with that feeling – as well as letting the song shine in its uniqueness,” says Parker.
