Dead & Company have shared via social media that their upcoming yet unannounced 2023 tour will be their final tour. As Bob Weir posted on his page “Well it looks like that’s it for this outfit, but don’t worry we will all be out there in one form or another until we drop…”
While there were rumors that 2022 might be the final go-around for the Grateful Dead core three minus Phil Lesh and John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti; they will give it another go-around in 2023. The band has been one of the biggest touring acts in the country since 2016, filling stadiums and sheds, while rekindling a summer Dead spirit not felt since the ’90s.
