LISTEN: Tender Glue Drops Melancholic Slow Burner “At The Same Time”

Tender Glue is made up of Tom Gluewicki, who was originally born and raised in Poland and later moved to New York in 2002. He explains his first encounter with playing music when he was twelve years old after he had fixed a broken guitar that his brother brought home.

“At the Same Time” is the melancholic, slow burn of a single from New York’s Tender Glue. The track patiently creates an atmosphere around that completely pulls you into its pensive sparseness, much like the sentimental chill that comes over a psyche when listening to Sigur Ros or The Moon and Antarctica. Tender Glue’s latest album Not so Very Nice, is out now.

“This song represents the feeling of being sad and happy at the same time. I have always felt strongly about fall for some reason. It gives me this feeling of being happily sad. Perhaps it’s the feeling of melancholy for all the happy memories that have come to an end,” says Gluewicki.
