Original Misfits Return For Three Big Shows In Jersey, Tampa & Phoenix

The air is thick with nostalgia and joy for punk fans as everyone’s favorite horrorcore band, The Misfits, has announced a small reunion tour for 2023. The current three-piece lineup of original frontman Glenn Danzing, resident bass player Jerry Only, and long-standing guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein have been performing together since 2016 and have toured ever since. The band currently has three shows planned for their anticipated reunion which will start out on June 24 in Tampa, Florida at their MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater.

One of those shows has The Misfits staging a homecoming in their original state of New Jersey along with The Gaslight Anthem and Fear, two other alumni of the garden state on July 8. The show will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark and lands right in the middle of these shows. Their third and final show of this small tour will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on July 15 at the 20,000-capacity Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater.

These three shows mark the only shows The Misfits have planned for 2023. The last time the band performed was in October of last year at the Dos Equis Pavillion in Dallas, Texas. Tickets for these shows are available through Live Nation and will go on sale to the public on March 24, presale starts on March 22.
