LISTEN: Michael Simon Armstrong Helms Fuzz Driven Grooves On “Forget The Reason”

On “Forget the Reason”, Michael Simon Armstrong’s new single, he immediately pulls you into his smooth fuzz-driven world of groove. If a song could have carpeted walls I think this would be it. This makes it all the more appropriate that a refrain in it is “Tell me can you pour me a shot of serotonin/keep it open keep em coming too.” As this tonally and melodically is just back-to-back feel-good sonic shots. If it’s not the tight dry drum signal or the expertly fuzzed-out bass, the intro/outro slide guitar is bound to give you a shot of your own.
