SONG PREMIERE: Devon Allman & Donavon Frankenreiter Deliver Twangy Highway Anthem- “Calling All You Riders” Off ‘Rollers EP’

If there is one word synonymous with the Allman Family its gotta be “rider.” From motorcycles to the legendary biker tune “Midnight Rider,” Duane, Gregg, and now Devon have had their songbooks filled with long horizon-draped roads and card-carrying high-flying troubadours of the American landscape. And that road warrior way of thinking is hitting another high note as Devon Allman and co-conspirator Donavon Frankenreiter will set out on the See It All American Tour, an attempt to set the official World record with 50 shows in 50 states in less than 50 Days. That ambitious journey runs from August 5th Through September 22nd.

Now the two journeymen have revealed a collaborative EP, Rollers, which will be released via Allman’s Create Records on Friday, June 23rd ahead of the duo’s See It All American Tour. The 6-song collection, produced by Luther Dickinson of the multiple Grammy-nominated North Mississippi All-Stars, also features the duo’s previously released single See It All.” Now back to the “riders,” Glide is premiering the new single from the duo “Calling All You Riders,” which kills with a fiery crust of ’70s Southern Rock and twangy outlaw country at its most authentic.

“This 6-song EP is a reflection of two friends collaborating on songs thinking about doing 50 shows
in 50 states in 49 days,” shares Frankenreiter. “As the first single says, we are going to see it all
and as the second single describes, we are calling all you riders. It’s the musical soundtrack to our
world record attempt.”
“These songs aren’t rockers, they’re rollers…the perfect soundtrack for you to roll from town to
town on a summertime road trip,” adds Allman. “These songs’ moods are very special to us. They
are part muscle/part mystical.”
